Stephen Troy, a filmmaker based in Massachusetts, is trying to raise the funds necessary for his latest project, a short film that deals with the ever growing issue of the overuse of plastic bags. It will be short, ridiculous, and memorable, and will hopefully be seen all over the country.
It is environmentally conscious, having a subtle but unmistakeable green message about the importance of recycling. After viewing this film, no one in the audience will be able to simply look the other way when they see plastic bags littering our streets. Remember how you felt after you saw The Birds? Same thing. Except plastic bags. The fundraising is done through Kickstarter.com. It would be awesome if we could get enough funds together for Stephen to help this project get completed.

Wish to see the movie, wish to have a free world...free from plastics and a green beautiful environment around us.

A very interesting topic. Please could you have a look at this new service aimed at highlighting another area of environmental neglect, yellow pages print advertising. The yellow pages print industry is responsible for the harvesting of 19 million trees every year in the USA alone. A new service has been launched which seeks to halt this environmental holocaust in its track by enlisting environmentalists and the public in the process.
The service is called www.nuyello.com and it would be greatly appreciated if you could make a mention of it somewhere on your blog.
Sincerely,
Charles

Bold step taken by a filmmaker instead of a Government. This is really very interesting topic I'll be waiting to watch this movie and reaction of people.

For this painting, I decided to try a new surface: canvas sheets that come sold in pads like sketchbook paper. My plan is to later mount the canvas paintings onto wooden panels that come ready with mounting adhesive and a hook on the back for hanging. The previous paintings done on Bristol paper can be mounted on these panels as well. I really like the look of the canvas although I was unable to get a nice scan of the dry painting done on it.
